We book sessions between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday thru Saturday
Do you book basic studio time?
Yes. The studio and booth are available for hourly bookings at $100 for the first hour and $50 for each hour after in one hour increments. All bookings include an engineer. Payment is due upon service.
Are bookings by appointment only?
Yes. However, we often are working on audio/video editing projects that don’t require the booth. If you are interested in booking a same day session, feel free to call 231-715-1639 and check on availability.
Does New Leonard record outside the studio (on location)?
We offer live streaming of events, live sound, and DJ services on a limited basis.
Do you have ADR / Dubbing experience?
YES! Northern Michigan is home to several professional actors and SAG-AFRA talent. We have done ADR (Automated or Additional Dialogue Replacement) and voiceover sessions for independent film and primetime television. ADR at New Leonard is a flat rate of $150 per hour. Our mic locker includes industry standard mics (Sennheiser MK416, Sanken COS-11D, and Neumann TLM 103). Mic Pre and AD conversion thru Universal Audio Apollo x8.

We do not install home theaters but our friends do. We are happy to make recommendations upon request
We are always happy to help people learn! Whether it is in our studio with basic beat production, signal flow, and use of digital audio workstations or if it is helping you with choosing the best equipment, layout, and budget for your own home studio, we love to share the knowledge and are available for consultation. We do not offer software certifications at this time.
Street parking is free and available in front of the studio.
